Web services company U.S.NEXT clearly believes bigger is better. Adding yet another business to its ranks, the company recently closed its tenth acquisition by agreeing to acquire the operations of Accessible Computer Experts for an undisclosed amount.
The transaction further diversifies the company?s offerings by adding Accessible?s managed services and cloud services to its menu. U.S.NEXT, the largest web services firm headquartered in Mississippi, has traditionally focused on website design, intranets, and mobile app development, and the hosting services, dedicated and collocated servers provided by its data center.
?We think the offerings of our new managed services division will be an excellent complement to the services we already provide our clients,? said David Crawford, the company?s chief executive. ?Business owners prefer a one stop shop.?
Managed services means monitoring and managing a company?s IT system, including alerts, security, patch management, data backup and recovery for different client devices such as desktops, notebooks, servers, storage systems, printers, networks and applications.
?U.S.NEXT now has the ability to provide enterprise-level managed services to businesses and not-for-profit organizations,? said Buddy Sharp, Vice President of Managed Services. ?We?re also excited about offering a full range of cloud services to new and existing clients.?
